Patch the Pirate Club provides opportunities for elementary-aged children to grow spiritually while developing musically. It’s a great club for character-building fun! Patch the Pirate Club is a unique children’s choir program. Based upon music written by Ron and Shelley Hamilton, the program has been used successfully in churches, schools and home schools since 1985. Each month the Club emphasizes a new Godly character lesson taught through songs, stories, Bible lessons, music lessons, activity pages, daily devotions and performances.

www.familycampinternational.org To understand the heart of Family Camp International, we must go to the Bible. In Ezra 8:21 the Bible says, “Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.”
While traveling with his family, Ezra had come to a place of decision with an enemy on his trail. It was then that Ezra turned his family’s attention to God. Ezra needed to know the right way for his marriage, for his children and for his possessions.
I was on a foreign mission trip when I came across this passage of Scripture. I was looking for the right way to help people around the world. It was in a meeting with church leaders that the Family camp was first brought to the table for discussion. Since that meeting, the response has been overwhelming.
Families are in desperate need of the right way. Everyone has their own ideas about the right way for someone else. However, we must do as Ezra and turn our family’s attention to God and seek of Him a right way.
